Natural history excursion between Ammersee and Andechs with Dr. Alexis Katechakis – for company representatives of all stripes and other interested people

10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Sustainability to experience and touch

What does sustainability even mean? Why is sustainable development not just a necessity for all of us, but also an enrichment? We want to understand, experience and discuss this outside of closed rooms together in nature.

Together we explore the ecology of the Ammersee, get to know important tree species, shrubs and herbs from our homeland, observe animals if they want to be discovered, look at running water, experience how the glaciers of the last cold period shaped our landscape and discuss the incarnation to the Anthropocene, how humans live with and from nature, how they shape it and where our journey is going.

A great excursion. It was one of the most enriching events I've ever taken part in
and definitely an impetus to go through nature with more open eyes.

Claudia Meindel, V.O. Patents & Trademarks

What a great trip! I simply had no expectations, and it was exceeded many times over. How much knowledge in one day– from the miracle of nature (migratory birds) to the miracle of life (photosynthesis) up to 2 habitats – explained fundamentally, everything communicated in an understandable way.
Thank you, Alexis for luring us into nature, that was the unanimous opinion on the S-Bahn on the way back.
Thank you again for such a project!

For company representatives of all stripes and other interested people

We not only learn from the excursion leader, but also from each other. The hike is doable for everyone. The path has hardly any gradients and we take our time to stop and experience the nature around us.

From the train station in Herrsching we hike to Andechs Monastery. Once there, we can fortify ourselves in the monastery tavern in the afternoon before we make our way back on a circular route. Into the Wild 2023 is part of the BayernTourNatur campaign of the Bavarian State Ministry for the Environment and Consumer Protection.

Maximum 12 participants, from the age of 14 (we offer a separate excursion for younger people). The group is deliberately kept small so that we can discuss things well and there is enough time to address all topics and questions.
